YEAH, THE SHERLOCK MUSEUM WAS KINDA PERFECT.
I went with my friend Claire (raging Sherlockian) and it took us about 2 ish hours to get to Baker Street
There was a long ass line tho, and there were 2 seperate ones; one to get a ticket and the other to enter the flat :c It took about an hour but time flew cause we were just quoting lines from Sherlock xD
We were given this leaflet about Arthur C Doyle and Sherlock and I think my brain kinda went thudfzhj cause I was like "Wait, was Sherlock a real person?" And Claire and about 4 other people both behind and in front of me were like "NO." I kinda died at that xD
THEN WE WENT INSIDE AND OH LORD, WE COULDN'T CONTAIN OURSELVES. There are 3 floors and the first one was Sherlock's bedroom and the living room AND WAS THE LIVING ROOM NOT ALMOST EXACTLY LIKE THE ONE IN BBC SHERLOCK. I almost cried it was like I was there, filming with the crew XD The only difference is there's more Victorian stuff and the wall doesn't have the smiley face on it with lots of gun shot holes XD Sherly's bedroom was cute, it was small and had his deerstalker and a whole lot of pipes and books and stuff c:
The second floor was John's and Mrs Hudson's room and John's room was like a typical doctor's room XD It was kinda the same as Sherlock's but it had books about biology and doctor-y stuff and yeah XD Hudders' room was kinda big, it was nice
THE THIRD FUCKING FLOOR THOUGH. Sorry for the language, but it was like a living nightmare. xD There were dummies EVERYWHERE. In one room, there was a dummy of a dead guy on a floor, an arm dangling from a hole in the ceiling, a mental guy in a cage... and in the next room there was the head of the Hound from the Hound of Baskerville, Charles Augustus Milverton being shot by Mary, Moriarty standing there looking all creepy, then there was this ginger guy with a beard xD We didn't know who he was so we just said he was Anderson xD Then in the corner was Sherlock and Watson and this woman in a coffin and we didn't know who she was so we said it was Irene Adler xD I wouldn't have been so freaked out IF THE DUMMIES DIDN'T LOOK SO FRIKKING REAL AND THEY WERE EVERYWHERE.
But yeah that was the museum! X'D And there was a gift shop!! Didn't get anything though, it was soooo expensive! £20 for a pipe? £45 for a deerstalker? It's a earhat, John. WHAT IS THIS, SOME SORT OF DEATH FRISBEE? PAH. Ain't nobody got time for those prices.
If you're ever in London, go to Baker Street and visit Sherly's old place
£8 for an adult ticket, £5 for a kid! :'D I feel like I'm advertising... I'm gonna stop now XD I'll put pictures up soon!
If you read this far..............well done to you. HAVE A FANCY CAT.
OH AND P.S. ALL YOU LUCKY BITCHES THAT HAVE BEEN TO LONDON AND HAVE MET BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH AND COINCIDENTALLY BUMPED INTO HIM. HOW. HOW. I'VE BEEN TRYING TO MEET THAT DORK FOR MONTHS AND I LIVE IN THE SAME BLOODY CITY AS HIM. Although he is in New York atm BUT THAT'S BESIDES THE POINT.
